Thursday Night Photography: Black and White II

Image
#Photography I didn't get a chance to shoot photos due to a busy work schedule so here are some photos from my library converted to black and white. Thursday Night Photography!

Thursday Night Photography: Rancho Santa Margarita

Image
#Photography For tonight's session of Thursday Night Photography, I decided to take some pictures of my city, RSM. I made a stop by Lago Santa Margarita and also caught the sunset at Oso Reservoir. Since I can post to twitter, I'm also trying out the hashtag to see how that turns out! Enjoy.

Japan Street Photography

Image
#photography #Japan I checked my photo library and realized I had a lot of street photos from Japan. Here are some of them displayed in black and white. It's one of the countries I would recommend people visit at least once in their lifetime.

Thursday Night Photography: 30mm Prime Lens

Image
I picked up the Sigma 30mm f/2.8 DN Art Lens for my Olympus OM-D E-M1. It came with a nice case and a fancy hood. Here are some pictures of the lens and a few samples that I took around my house. I think I've got all the lenses covered for my camera now (unless Adorama or B&H have a crazy sale). Look out for more photos on the way!

Trail to Trabuco Canyon

Image
There is a small trail near my house that leads to Trabuco Canyon. Here are some quick pictures that I took with my OM-D E-M1 after work today. I used the Zuiko 12-50mm f/3.5-6.3  lens, the Zuiko 75-300mm f/4.8-6.7 lens, and the Rokinon 7.5mm f/3.5 fisheye lens.

Thursday Night Photography: Black and White

Image
It's Thursday night and rather than taking new pictures, I decided to convert some of my old and recent photos to black and white (except for one which I decided to try the colored filter option). Hahaha I did not asks for someone's permission so some pictures may disappear if she says take them down. Also, one of my coworkers taught me some lessons on image/focus stacking and depth of field so hopefully I can produce some nice pictures for everyone to see!

Glass

Image
Over time, I've noticed that I tend to collect a lot of things. One of the most common items in my house is glass. Here are some quick pictures of glass in my house. Hecho en Mexico

Thursday Night Photography: Fisheye Lens

Image
I picked up the Rokinon 7.5mm f/3.5 MFT (micro four thirds) fisheye lens for my Olympus OM-D E-M1. Here are some quick pictures I took of Robinson Ranch, my living room, and kitchen. I'll need to find some other good places to use this lens.
