Atlanta Georgia Day 2

#Photography #GWCC #MSIgnite #Atlanta #Georgia My second day in ATL was interesting. I didn't realize the CNN building and Georgia Dome were all next to each other. The main conference was held at the Georgia World Conference Center (dang that's a long name...) During my terrible attempt to find parking, I also saw construction on a new stadium. I brought my Olympus camera but most of my pics were taken with my iPhone. Microsoft also gave out some fancy backpacks and water bottles but the line was rediculously long. Here are the pics from today's Ignite session and wandering adventures.

We hiked up the side of a mountain and travelled from Zhenbei Tower to Tower 6 of the Mutianyu Great Wall. My sinus decided this was the day it wouldn't work and the pollen made it hard to breathe for the first 1.5 hours up the mountain side. I thought the group was going to kill me for stopping a lot to blow my nose and breathe but they were kind enough to wait.  Once we got to the top of Zhenbei, the rest of the walk was brutal. I never want to see steps again. I took the first few pics with my Sony then the rest were taken with my iPhone. The entire hike lasted around 5 hours and we ended it with a toboggan ride at Tower 6. Morrissey with special guest Interpol at FivePoint Amphitheatre

#Morrissey #InterpolNYC #FivePoint #Irvine Interpol opened for Morrissey last night at the FivePoint Amphitheatre in Irvine, CA. This was the first time visiting the venue and the best part was getting free VIP parking because I had Mercury Insurance. I've seen Morrissey live in the past, but I haven't seen Interpol before and their set was great. Here are some pics and videos I took on my iPhone X because my iPhone 11 Max Pro is still backordered :( Hopefully I can test it at another event and post the results. Thursday Night Photography: Pentacon 135mm Prime Lens

#GetOlympus #Pentacon #Fotodiox #Photography I recently picked up an old prime lens made in Germany around the 1960s. The Pentacon 135mm f/2.8 (Meyer Orestor 15 blades) lens is also known as the Bokeh Monster due to the creamy blur it creates when you use it. Even though the lens is old and uses an M42 mount (screw mount), I was able to find an M42 to Micro Four Thirds mount from Fotodiox. The person who I bought the lens from took care of it like it was a newborn child and it is in excellent condition. Since my #Olympus OM-D E-M1 has stabilization on the body, I don't have to worry about blurring caused by the lens. The new Olympus bodies are probably the reason why old lens prices went from dirt cheap in 2010 to pricey today. When I was reviewing the lens with a coworker, we didn't realize there were several different versions of this lens. As a result, I actually ended up buying 2 different lenses on accident.
