Dave Chapelle once had a skit that said everything looks better in slow motion. I'll take that to another level and say everything looks cool in macro (sadly the pictures aren't as funny as the skit).

Thursday Night Photography: Sneakers

It's Thursday night and I needed some new pictures. I picked up an Olympus 45mm f/1.8 lens yesterday and it's given me some good shots. I decided to take some pictures of my sneakers and also play with some black and white settings in photoshop. I'm sure my wife will love the fact that I put shoes on the table.

June 13 2014 Honey Moon

"June’s full moon is called the honey moon because of all the full moons of the year, it is the one most likely to glow yellow throughout the night." - LAtimes.com
I wish I had a nice background for the moon, but it was too dark and it took about an hour to find a good location because it was hiding behind the mountains. These were taken with my Olympus OM-D E-M1 and a 75-300mm lens fully extended. Also, if you follow the pictures you'll see that the moon is moving.
